Job Description
The Arlington County Government's Retirement Office is seeking a Director of Investments and Operations to oversee the ACERS, a defined benefit pension plan serving Arlington County employees. This role involves strategic planning, performance reporting, regulatory compliance, and promoting an accountable and collaborative culture. The Director will focus on prudent investment management, operational excellence, and fiduciary compliance.
Requirements
- Support the Executive Director and Board in strategic planning, policy development, and asset allocation.
- Prepare and present materials for Board and stakeholder meetings.
- Manage the closing of financial journals for annual reports and audits.
- Conduct market research and investment due diligence.
