Job Description
The Facilities Maintenance Bureau within the Department of Environmental Services (DES) is seeking an HVAC Mechanic II to repair and maintain heating system equipment, air conditioning systems and ventilating systems for multiple sites. The mechanic will work with Direct Digital Control (DDC) Building Automated System (BAS) and will assist in developing routine corrective and preventive maintenance duties. They will monitor and diagnose equipment problems, repair and maintain commercial equipment, and provide technical guidance.
Requirements
- Senior level HVAC Mechanic Journeyman's License
- Experience with Direct Digital Control (DDC) Building Automated System (BAS)
- Computer proficiency with Hand or Power Tools, Heavy Machinery Operation
- Interpersonal skills
