Job Description
The Dosimetrist member of the radiation oncology team will consult with radiation physicists and physicians, acquire and manage patient data for treatment plans, and assist with patient simulations, tumor localization, and preparation for treatment. This role involves dose calculations, machine settings, and assisting with various procedures, including preparation for preplanning and brachytherapy implants.
Requirements
- Knowledge of radiation oncology treatment machines and equipment
- Experience in brachytherapy
- Education and expertise in dose calculation and dose distributions
- Knowledge of both 2D & 3D treatment plans
- Data acquisition and storage of patient data
