Job Description
Black Semiconductor is seeking a Team Lead for Electronics and Photonics Devices Characterization to drive the transition from research and development to volume manufacturing. The role involves leading characterization efforts for electronic graphene photonics products, ensuring they meet commercial specifications while scaling manufacturing processes. The company connects chips to high-throughput computing networks and harnesses graphene to improve computing power and efficiency.
Requirements
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor device characterization or photonics testing
- Expertise in testing photonic and electronic-photonic integrated circuits (PIC, EIC, EPIC)
- Proficiency with electrical and optical measurement techniques
- Experience with high-volume testing, automation, and statistical analysis
- Experience with high-speed communication or RF photonics applications
- Knowledge of industry standards for photonic components and reliability testing
- Experience with optical and opto-electrical testing equipment, probers, and RF photonics instruments
- Proficiency in Python programming and data analysis software
