Industrial Mechanic All Tiers - Plant Operations (Systems Reliability Division)

The Industrial Mechanic position at the Plant Operations Division involves performing entry maintenance, fabrication, overhaul, and repair of mechanical equipment within a wastewater/reclaimed water treatment system. This role requires collaboration with crews, adherence to safety standards, and the use of tools and technologies such as welding, diagnostics, and predictive maintenance. The position requires overtime work as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED Certificate
• Four (4) years of experience in mechanical maintenance/repair
• Valid Florida driver's license
• Experience with water and wastewater equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems
• Physical ability to work in confined spaces and potentially heavy equipment
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electricity, combustion, and safety standards
• Ability to work with computer software
