Job Description
HealthPartners is seeking a Mammography Technologist Lead I to perform mammography screenings according to ACR guidelines, provide excellent patient care, and maintain accurate records. The role involves guiding and monitoring other staff, ensuring quality control, and offering effective feedback. This is an essential leadership position within a comprehensive health care organization.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Initial Mammography Training Certificate or proof of 40 hours training
- Current ARRT registration
- Eight (8) hours training of DBT
- Eight (8) hours training of 3D (Tomo)
- Strong knowledge in anatomy, mammographic positioning, and proper application of radiographic principles
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of patients, age, cultures and physical conditions
- Demonstrated computer skills necessary to perform lead duties
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships necessary to perform lead duties
