Job Description
We are seeking a Buyer to contribute to the development and implementation of global supply chain management strategies, identify and develop vendors, and manage the supplier relationship.
Requirements
- Experience in developing supply chain management strategies
- Creative thinker with strong analytical skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of contracts, contract requirements, and contract management
- Systems skills (procurement related)
- Solid interpersonal skills and strong communicator
- Knowledge of steel/metal production process and markets
- Understanding of international business and international sourcing process
- Cross disciplinary experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Knowledge of JD Edwards or similar ERP system
