Compass House is a comprehensive shelter and resource center serving runaway and homeless youth aged 12 to 24 in Erie County, offering inclusive support for all gender identities. The organization operates an emergency shelter that provides safe housing, case management, and independent-living counseling for younger youth (12-17). Parallel to that, the non-residential resource center delivers case management, independent-living counseling, rapid rehousing, and additional services to older youth (14-24) who are homeless or at risk. With a 24-hour crisis hotline and a dual-model approach, Compass House uniquely combines immediate crisis response with long-term transition support to help young people achieve stability and self-reliance.
