Nurse Practitioner/Physican Assistant - Duke Orthopedics Urgent Care

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for the Duke Department of Orthopaedics at Duke Orthopaedics Urgent Care locations to provide direct patient care services. The APP providing services in the urgent care is functioning with autonomy with physician support.

Requirements

• Provide care for patients needing urgent orthopaedic care as well as subacute and chronic conditions.
• Coordinate patient care including triage, physical exams, collecting and documenting data, conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ordering and scheduling laboratory studies including advanced imaging.
• Formulation of a diagnosis and treatment plan with implementation of the plan with understanding by the patient.
