Families In Schools (FIS), founded in 2000, is an organization dedicated to involving parents and communities in children's education for lifelong success. FIS focuses on early education, family literacy, college awareness, school partnerships, and community engagement. Through a continuum of programs from Pre-K to high school, FIS empowers parents with training and advocacy skills to support their children's academic journey.

Full Time Pre K Teacher
Pre-K/Preschool teacher certification is required. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is recommended. Eager and passionate about working with young children is desired
Preschool/ Pre-K Teacher (Full Time/40hrs/wk)
EEC Preschool Teacher certification, Early childhood teaching experience, Work toward certification
Assistant Teacher (5 days a week, 8:00am - 4:00pm)
Experience w/Pre-K is preferred. Strong communication & interpersonal skills needed. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate activities
Afterschool Group Leader (10- 25hrs/week)
Experience with children, eagerness to join a team of educators, and preferred: bachelor's degree or EEC licensing
Early Childhood Teacher (10am-6pm) Full Time
EEC Preschool Teacher certification and early childhood teaching experience required
Pre K and Junior Kindergarten Support Teacher
Early childhood teaching experience, EEC Preschool Teacher certification, degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
Preschool/ Pre-K Teacher (Part Time)
EEC Preschool Teacher certification and early childhood teaching experience required
Combo Admin Support/ Teacher (Full Time/40hrs/wk)
EEC Preschool Teacher certification, early childhood teaching experience, and technological savviness
Afterschool Group Leader (1:30-6pm)
Experience working with children, eagerness to join professional team, bachelor's degree and/or EEC licensing preferred
