Associate Product Development Engineer

Requirements

• Prioritize safety and the safety of peers by adhering to site PPE standards and driving continuous improvement.
• Assist in the development and refinement of porous plastic components through all phases of the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop processes for new polymer products.
• Design experiments, prepare samples, and test physical or chemical properties of prototypes and materials using analytical lab tools and software.
• Document statistics in digital spreadsheets, charts, and reports to recommend data-driven corrective actions that improve product quality.
• Write complete work instructions and train production team to successfully produce product.
• Assist with stage-gate project documentation and support scale-up from lab to production.
• Optimize process parameters for molding plastic polymers with data-driven decisions.
• Participate in 5S to maintain efficient workflow and sanitary or regulatory requirements.
• Learn, support teammates, and take on additional duties as new projects develop.
