Gateway Foundation is seeking a Substance Use Counselor to provide individual and group counseling, develop treatment plans, and maintain records. The counselor will work in a correctional institution and have the opportunity to make a positive impact on a marginalized population.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or closely related field
- P-LPC, LPC, P-LMFT, LMFT, LMSW or LCSW, CADC, or CRADC
- Minimum 2-3 years clinical counseling experience, with concurrent experience in the treatment of substance abuse and dual-diagnoses
- At least 6 months of development counseling experience with the program specific population
- 12 hours of documented supervisory training, or equivalent supervisory experience
