Técnico de Campo (Programa Anticipado de Agricultura Climáticamente Inteligente y Agro-logística)

Global Communities is seeking field technicians for an anticipated project in Honduras. The program will last approximately between 1.5 and 2 years and will support groups of producers who practice subsistence agriculture to achieve increases in production, productivity, and insertion into the formal market. The technicians will provide technical assistance to producer groups and communities, socialize the project, and identify eligible groups.

Requirements

• Mid-level professional or university graduate with a degree in agricultural sciences, natural resources or agricultural administration.
• At least three (3) years of work experience in the promotion of agricultural or rural development with rural development programs or projects, governmental institutions or NGOs with development oriented work in rural communities.
• Verifiable work experience in providing, supporting, or facilitating agricultural extension services with producers in rural areas,
