Job Description
Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel is seeking a Part-time Steward to ensure kitchen cleanliness, maintain equipment, and provide kitchen assistance. The role involves assisting cooks, maintaining hygiene, and adhering to food safety regulations. Candidates must be energetic, proactive, and possess excellent time management skills.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of kitchen experience
- WHMIS certification
- Initiative and understanding of kitchen duties
- Ability to follow instructions
- Familiarity with food poisoning prevention
- Ability to analyze inventory and create prep lists
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and pressure
- Ability to pass criminal record check
