Harlem Children's Zone (HCZ) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending intergenerational poverty in the Harlem community through a full spectrum of evidence-based programs. HCZ delivers early childhood education, K-12 academic support, and career readiness initiatives, while also offering community outreach, health and wellness services, and family empowerment resources. By integrating education, social services, and workforce development, HCZ creates a seamless pipeline that enables children and families to achieve academic success, secure employment, and build long-term prosperity. MSW degree, LMSW or LCSW licensing, NYS School Social Work Certificate, one year of experience, and strong organizational and communication skills

Bachelor's degree, 2-3 years of experience in student advising, passion for the mission of Harlem Children’s Zone
Education Director - Harlem Gems
Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, 6+ years of teaching experience, and strong knowledge of child development and curriculum planning
General Counsel
JD and 10+ years of progressive legal experience with experience in the nonprofit, advocacy, or social impact sector. Deep knowledge of governance, contracts, employment law, and compliance frameworks. Strong leadership and communication skills
Middle School Academic Intervention Specialist
Bachelor's degree, 2-5 years of teaching experience, NY State certification in Reading or Literacy
Elementary Learning Specialist (Special Education Teacher)
2+ years teaching experience, valid NYS Teaching Certification, and experience in SETSS or ICT
IT Systems Engineer
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, strong experience with cloud platforms
Server
High school diploma, 2+ years food service experience, excellent customer service skills
