Activity Specialist

Harlem Children’s Zone is seeking a passionate and dedicated Activity Specialist to lead after-school activities for children and families. This role involves developing creative projects, teaching, and facilitating decision-making, while promoting life-time skills like communication and critical thinking. The specialist will work in the Harlem Children’s Zone on location for on-site activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (degree preferred)
• 1+ years of teaching experience
• Passion for the mission and programs of Harlem Children’s Zone
• Ability to create lesson plans
• Conservatory or university-level education preferred
• At least one year of teaching experience
• Excellent planning, organization, communication, and time management skills
• Energy, motivation, and team player
