Activity Specialist

Harlem Children’s Zone is seeking an enthusiastic Activity Specialist to build opportunities for children and families in their after-school program. The role involves facilitating weekly lesson plans, arts-based projects, and personal development activities, with a focus on teaching, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving. The position requires fluency in a relevant field (e.g., arts, music, gaming, etc.)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (degree preferred)
• 1+ years of teaching experience
• Passion for youth development and the mission of HCZ
• Understanding of youth development principles
• Experience with lesson planning
• Experience working with children in youth development programs
