We are seeking a driven Resource Room Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year that operates with a high sense of urgency and possesses a strong work ethic. The school is eager to consider applications from traditionally underrepresented groups. The role will provide instructional services to students with IEPs in the areas of reading, mathematics, and writing, and support with life skills and autistic support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- PA teacher certification or working towards certification
- K-12 lead teaching experience in a classroom setting (plus)
- Experience in urban, public charter, or Title I schools (plus)
- Experience or skills relating to life skills or functional task instruction (preferred)
- Autism experience (preferred)
- Experience working with and directing multiple paraprofessionals
- Experience in self-contained classroom settings (preferred)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
