Finance Manager (Accounting & Budgeting)-Financial Accounting & Capital Projects

The Finance Manager (Accounting & Budgeting) section is seeking a highly motivated individual to support the Senior Manager in financial reporting, capital projects, and accounting. This role involves managing fixed assets, ensuring compliance, collaborating with internal teams, and providing valuable information to governmental bodies. The position offers a fixed-term contract for two years and is subject to re-appointment.

Requirements

• Degree holder with membership of a recognised professional accounting body
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in financial and project accounting, preferably within universities, NGOs or sizeable organisations
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal in English and Chinese)
• Strong analytical skills and collaboration abilities
• Proficiency in computer software (Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI)
• Prior working experience in audit firms is an advantage
