- Design and implement scalable backend systems and APIs
- Build and operate high-availability infrastructure
- Develop internal platforms to improve engineering productivity
- Collaborate with applied research and frontend teams
- Ensure systems meet high bar for security, uptime, and latency
- Participate in on-call rotations
