Performance Test Engineer

Byte Platform is seeking a Performance Test Engineer to optimize performance testing experience for their digital ordering channels and technology innovations. This role involves working with complex distributed systems, databases, and large clustered datasets, focusing on optimizing product performance. The ideal candidate will be a strong problem solver with experience in performance analysis tools and a need to understand systems.

Requirements

• At least Bachelor’s degree in CS, CIS, engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering
• 3+ years of experience with code first performance testing tools
• Advanced coding skills in Javascript or Typescript
• Extensive experience working with microservices architecture and APIs
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with API and Web application testing
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in profile/baseline, load and stress testing
• Deep dive root cause analysis skills
• Strong technical communication and documentation skills
