The Project Engineer Sr will support the design and construction of Weapons System Infrastructure & Capabilities projects, including major facility modifications and construction projects. The role involves developing and reviewing facility engineering design packages, reviewing construction plans and specifications, and conducting site visits to verify constructed facilities meet design specifications.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Engineer or equivalent
- Knowledge of construction codes, regulations and industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret facility design drawings and specifications
- Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel
- Proficient in Microsoft products
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (civil, structural, mechanical or electrical)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional certification in architecture, engineering, or a related field (e.g. LEED AP, PE)
- Experience with creating cost estimates for facility projects
- Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit
- Familiarity with the military construction (MILCON) process
- Experience with construction inspection and oversight, contract administration, and field surveying
- Experience with creating and reviewing A&E design drawings
- Experience with creating Statements of Work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for briefings and stakeholder coordination
