Student Worker Advocacy and Resource Center

The Advocacy and Resource Center (ARC) at Lorain County Community College provides students with support to succeed in college. The student worker in the ARC office and the food pantry offers assistance with registration, accessing services, maintaining office duties, and contributing to campus events. The ARC is seeking student workers with strong communication, customer service, and willingness to assist diverse populations.

Requirements

• Greeting clients and patrons, serving as the first point of contact
• Registering, signing in, and assisting people with accessing services
• Performing office duties, including answering the phone, making copies, and cleaning
• Maintaining strict confidentiality
