The Quality Engineer II will ensure consistent quality of production by supporting activities with the Business Management System (BMS) and implementing customer contractual requirements through timely contract review and configuration management processes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of quality assurance experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years related experience.
- MUST have general understanding of GD&T and able to interpret engineering drawings.
- Ability to interpret and understand customer and industry specifications, i.e., ISO, ASME, MIL STD, MS, etc.
- Excellent communications skills – both verbal and technical writing.
- Provide project leadership for process improvement initiatives.
- Understanding of configuration management principles and practices.
- Experience with Quality Engineering tools, i.e., Cause Map, Fish Bone analysis, PFMEA, Six Sigma, SPC, etc.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Prior background that includes machining, assembly, and inspection desirable.
- Attention to details and be a self starter.

- MS Office proficient.
- Green belt trained a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
