Job Description
This Shipping Supervisor position requires leadership for plant warehousing/shipping teams. Responsibilities include quality assurance, inventory management, safety compliance, and ensuring efficient operations to meet performance goals. The role involves coordinating shipments, managing employee relationships, and conducting performance evaluations. There is continuous improvement and data monitoring processes.
Requirements
- Experienced in shipping, receiving, inventory control, employee relations, and customer service.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
- Experience with QAD or similar warehouse management systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work weekends and extended shifts.
- Basic Math Skills.
