Civil PE

Step into a key role where your civil engineering expertise will directly shape water resource solutions. You’ll lead planning, modeling, and permitting efforts while working closely with clients, contractors, and non-engineering stakeholders.

Requirements

• Collaborates with team members to develop proposals, scopes, and fees
• Manages the demands of planning and modeling, regulatory compliance, and permitting
• Reviews project details to proactively manage risk
• Evaluates observations and design systems that will withstand the elements on the installation site
• Develops relationships with clients, staff, municipal authorities, vendors, and contractors
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• Professional engineer registration (PE/EIT) in TX
• 2+ years of experience in water resources
• Experience with software including AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS is preferred
• Knowledge of civil engineering practices, principles and keep up with the ever-changing industry trends
• Detailed understanding of engineering project management methods with the ability to plan a project start to finish, taking into account time, cost and resources
• An effective communicator with all levels of employees
• Possess strategic and effective delegation skills
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and workplace safety regulations
• Must be able to work in a collaborative environment with non-Engineer decision makers and be able to communicate plans
