Provide non-credit instruction and evaluation in EMR/EMT course, using current skills and knowledge to promote student learning and active participation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related discipline
• EMT - Emergency Medical Tech Certification
• Pennsylvania Department of Health certification as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT)
• PARAMEDIC - Paramedic – Licensed Pennsylvania Department of Health certification
• BCLS - Basic Life Support American Heart Association credentials
• ACLS American Heart Association credentials in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• ITLS - Advanced Trauma Life Support Trauma credentials
• Three (3) years of emergency medical services experience
• Successful teaching experience
• Experience with distance education and alternative teaching methodologies
