Job Description
Rigetti Computing is seeking a Microwave and Cryogenics Test Engineer to join their Fremont, CA quantum computing FAB and R&D facility. The role involves operating and maintaining advanced RF assemblies and cryogenic systems, developing best practices, and troubleshooting complex hardware. This is a hands-on position in a deep R&D environment with a focus on quantum hardware testing.
Requirements
- BS degree or equivalent in Physics, Engineering or equivalent industrial or military experience
- Substantial lab experience working with sub-Kelvin cryogenic equipment
- Fluency with statistical methods for Test (Six Sigma, DOE, simulation, etc)
- Experience working with and maintaining large equipment of high availability systems
- Experience assembling, servicing, and maintaining scientific instruments and/or complex electro-mechanical assemblies
- Experience with dilution refrigerators or other cryogenic systems a strong plus
- Programming experience in Python or related scripting languages a strong plus
