Job Description
S&C Electric Company is seeking a sourcing manager to lead procurement activities for capital equipment and maintenance services, focusing on large, high-impact categories such as machinery, infrastructure, and MROC (Maintenance, Repair & Operations). This role involves partnering with stakeholders, negotiating contracts, and optimizing costs to ensure reliable and resilient power infrastructure. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of sourcing experience, with at least 2 years in capital equipment or maintenance categories.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with complex contracts.
- Sound understanding of manufacturing processes for industrial products and components.
- Familiarity with asset lifecycle management, CapEx planning, and MRO optimization.
- Ability to lead project teams and provide direction to cross-functional groups.
- Great critical thinking, organizational, planning and project management skills.
