Transplant Donation Specialist (Transplant Center)

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a Transplant Donation Specialist to facilitate organ donation services, manage renal pulsatile perfusion, and coordinate surgical recovery, allocation, and transport. The role involves client liaison, regulatory compliance, data documentation, and adherence to established protocols. Two years of medical experience is preferred, with experience in organ/tissue transplantation or nursing highly valued.

Requirements

• Serve as a liaison to transplant center clients.
• Register potential recipients for transplant.
• Coordinate surgical recovery and organ allocation.
• Accurately administer medications and blood products.
• Perform perfusion monitoring and machine operation.
