We are seeking an outstanding Mechanical Engineer II or III to join the Hardware Engineering group to support our ultra-precision mechanical designs and execution of 10x products.
Requirements
- Design, development, and successful release of precision mechanisms and mechanical assemblies for life science instrumentation or medical capital equipment.
- Designing pneumatic systems for microfluidic management, including pressure control architecture and the selection of sensors, valves, and pumps.
- Developing instrument electro-mechanical and structural components
- Coordinate designs with other key functions including Assay, Optical, Electrical, and System Engineering.
- Producing mechanical design documentation, in support of releasing new products into manufacturing.
- Collaborate with teams based in the US and globally in the Instrument design and development.
- Work with vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality and reliability in externally sourced components.
