Job Description
10x Genomics is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Instrument Software team, focusing on creating advanced instrument control software with C, C++, Python and/or Rust. The role involves hands-on coding of control systems, designing diagnostics tools for fleet monitoring, mentoring team members, and contributing to the evolution of the instrument codebase. The ideal candidate is technically excellent, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Hands-on coding of Python and C++ based control systems.
- Design and development of diagnostics tools for fleet monitoring employing AI.
- Mentoring of team members.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline with 8 years of experience (or Master's with 6+ years in software development).
