Job Description
1906 is seeking a driven Market Manager to lead the expansion of their product line in New Jersey, focusing on beverages and THC-infused products within alcohol-centric spaces. This role involves building relationships with distributors, developing sales strategies, and executing territory marketing plans. The position is field-based, requiring 100% travel within the state.
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience in a Territory, Market, or State Manager role, preferably in alcohol beverage or hemp-derived THC
- Proven track record managing off-premise (retail, grocery, liquor stores) sales channels
- Experience working with distribution partners and managing indirect sales relationships
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Self-motivated and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of alcohol beverage regulations and/or hemp-derived THC regulations (preferred)
