Job Description
1GLOBAL is a technology-driven global mobile communications provider seeking a Network Architect for its Evolved Packet Core - 5G Architect position. The successful candidate will be responsible for proposing, analyzing, and defining requirements for new and existing services and systems. Key responsibilities include collaboration with other Networks teams, project delivery, network design, integration and migration strategy definition, and working on complex solutions that influence the design of current products and addresses design issues for future products or technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience on implementation of live solutions on mobile telecom (GSM, UMTS, LTE, IMS) networks
- Knowledge of 3GPP, GSMA, ITU standards and specifications
- Experience in the design, test and operation of Packet Core systems, including P-GW, RADIUS, DNS, PCRF, ePDG, DRA
- Experience in defining, establishing and maintaining roaming interconnects for GRX/IPX
- Understanding about IMS architecture and experience in deploying VoLTE, VoWiFi, and QoS
- Experience in designing, implementing, testing and troubleshooting the following interfaces: Gx, RADIUS, SGi/Gi, Gy, Bp, S6b, S2b, SWm, Sxb
- Experience in mobile services charging (offline, online)
- Experience in Policy control, including DPI and PCRF policy creation
- Experience with IoT, including LTE-M and NB-IoT
- Knowledge and experience with Diameter/SCTP networks and protocols
- Knowledge and experience with protocols such as RADIUS, GTP-C, GTP-U, Diameter, MAP, S6a
- Experience with protocol analyzer tools like Wireshark, Astelia, and ability to use them to troubleshoot networks errors/problems for the mentioned protocols
- Experience with ETSI NFV architecture and solutions
- Familiar with MVNO/MVNE/MVNA architecture(s) and landscape
- English proficiency mandatory, other languages are a plus
- Degree in Telecom Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
