Roaming IREG Engineer

1GLOBAL is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Roaming IREG Engineer to manage the entire roaming process and procedures. As an IREG Engineer you will be responsible for the technical setup, testing, and maintenance of international roaming and interconnect services.

Requirements

• Plan, execute, and document IREG tests (IR.24, IR.35, IR.50, etc.) for voice, SMS, and data services, in line with GSMA standards.
• Set up and verify interconnect links for voice and messaging services with partner operators.
• Monitor roaming service KPIs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with roaming agreements.
• Configure and test SS7, Diameter, SIP, and related signaling protocols for international connectivity.
• Liaise with foreign operators, roaming hubs, and internal teams during implementation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain up-to-date test results, network configurations, and operational procedures.
• Oversee the footprint management of all 1Global products, working closely with the wholesale and other networks team.
