Job Description
1GLOBAL is seeking a Senior IP Network Engineer to join their team and design, build, and manage their global IP infrastructure. The role involves deploying and optimizing SD-WAN solutions, architecting SDN networks, and ensuring seamless interconnections with Mobile Network Operators. This position is central to 1GLOBAL's mission of powering global connectivity and offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and international experience.
Requirements
- 10+ years as an IP/Networking Engineer
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing high-availability, scalable intercontinental networks.
- Extensive experience designing and managing IP-based mobile backhaul networks for 4G/5G.
- Proven expertise with SD-WAN and SDN technologies like Cisco ACI.
- Strong experience with IPv6 and QoS.
- Skilled in designing and managing global IP backbones and interconnected data centers.
- Advanced Network Protocols (TCP, UDP, ICMP, SMTP, SNMP, DNS).
- Expertise in IPSec VPNs, security hardening, and compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, ISO27001, CIS).
- Hands-on experience managing Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks with MPLS.
- Proficient in Terraform, Ansible, and other automation tools.
- Strong leadership skills and collaboration skills.
