Job Description
We are looking for an Accountant / Payroll Assistant to join our People & Culture Team. The role involves implementation and coordination of preparatory payroll accounting for German companies, ensuring timely data transmission, and being the central point of contact for payroll-related topics. You will work closely with the Accounting Team and external payroll service providers, and optimize payroll processes within the holding structure.
Requirements
- Commercial education or study in accounting, personnel management, or comparable
- In-depth experience in preparatory payroll accounting
- Safe handling of Personio and DATEV LODAS
- Good knowledge of German tax and social security law
- Structured, independent, and meticulous working style
- Good communication skills in German, good English skills are an advantage
