Job Description
This position is for a 24HR Safety Engineer responsible for maintaining and repairing gas monitoring, lighting, and ventilation equipment. The role involves calibration, repair, cleaning, and ensuring equipment is returned to active status. Additional duties may include customer service, stock management, and assisting with delivery.
Requirements
- Perform maintenance, repair, cleaning and sensor change-outs on various types of equipment.
- Returns monitoring equipment to active status.
- Performs routine calibration procedures on portable and fixed gas monitors.
- Learns to service and repair hand-held and confined space radio communications equipment.
- Completes all documentation associated with service in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assists others in the facility including stocking shelves with clean, tested and ready to use equipment.
- Travel to different locations for delivery.
- Ability to pass a TWIC background, plant security, drug screen.
