Job Description
We are looking for a Mainframe developer with experience in DB2 (Z/OS) application Programming, CICS application Programming, and Mainframe technologies (Cobol, CICS, JCL, DB2, Zeke, X/PTR). The candidate should have excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills and ability to translate and communicate highly technical concepts to both technical and non-IT business users.
Requirements
- DB2 (Z/OS) application Programming
- CICS application Programming
- Experience with Mainframe technologies (Cobol, CICS, JCL, DB2, Zeke, X/PTR)
- Experience with structured system development methodologies (preferably waterfall method)
- Experience with COBOL debugging tools (XPEDITOR/CA-Interest)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to translate and communicate highly technical concepts to both technical and non-IT business users
- Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with clients
- Extensive experience conducting problem analysis and issue resolution
