Complex Housing Officer

Requirements

• Effective written and verbal communication
• Ability to deal inventively and sensitively with a wide range and spectrum of people
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively
• Ability to maintain accurate detailed and timely case notes and other evidence-based records
• Good organisational and administrative skills
• Ability to speak fluent English
• Knowledge of Homelessness legislation, Landlord and tenant law, and Data Protection
• Negotiating skills and experience of working with vulnerable applicants
• Experience of working within a Housing Options team and in a housing association or local authority housing department
• Ability to build and maintain good working relationships, work as part of a team, and use initiative
• Current driving licence required and access to own vehicle
