Job Description
The Swiss CNC Applications Engineer will be responsible for running turnkey projects, conducting pre-sale activities, developing custom demonstrations, and training customers in the safe set-up and operation of CNC machining centers. The ideal candidate will have experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing, possess an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines, and be able to think quickly and make sound decisions.
Requirements
- Running turnkey projects, demonstrations, and other customer-related projects
- Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews
- Developing/implementing custom demonstrations and training customers
- Making accurate cost estimates and writing engineering reports
- Traveling to customers for on-site training and engineering assistance
