Director of People

9amHealth is a San Diego, California, based company that offers specialized cardiometabolic care. We're looking for a Director of People to lead our People function as we grow into a Series B business.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of People leadership experience in high-growth environments.
• Experience managing People teams and developing talent.
• Strong People operations background with hands-on expertise.
• Rippling experience (required).
• Ability to support multi-state employment and navigate blended workforces (W2, 1099, per diem, clinicians).
• Commitment to equitable people practices and creating an inclusive employee experience.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate across time zones and functions.
• Ability to work independently and manage sensitive matters with discretion.
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
• Availability during core US business hours.
• Adherence to company policies, data security standards, and confidentiality.
