Job Description
Abacus Technology is seeking an ISP Installer/Premise Technician to repair, replace, install, and maintain wiring and switches for Aberdeen Proving Ground. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in providing installation and maintenance for inside plant service calls, and be familiar with telecommunications equipment and systems, including specialized experience with telephone equipment.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience providing installation and maintenance for inside plant service calls
- Experience providing maintenance, installation, testing, and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems
- Must be able to install, terminate, and test cables
- Must be familiar with a variety of terminal connectors and EIA/TIA standards
- Must possess the understanding and knowledge of basic electronic principles
- Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance
