Sales Manager

The Outside Sales Manager is responsible for directing the work of a team of Outside Sales Representatives, analyzing territory data, and building a sales strategy to meet performance metrics.

Requirements

• Manage the performance of direct reports to ensure metrics are met consistently
• Drive revenue growth for assigned territory through new client acquisition
• Create and lead a strategic sales strategy to equip team to meet sales organizational goals and weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual targets
• Report performance metrics and forecast revenue attainment to senior sales leadership
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within the organization, clients and prospects
• Manage, coach, develop and discipline direct reports as needed to drive expected performance
• Work with recruiting and human resources to staff office as needed
• Oversee market analysis for assigned territory to identify new penetration opportunities and trends
• Collaborate with internal departments including human resources, sales training and sales operations to ensure employees are equipped for success
• Maintain an advanced knowledge of the Paycom suite of products including new releases and product enhancements
• Stay aware of regional compliance laws and regulations to ensure team is equipped to address appropriately with prospects
• Qualify leads and convert them into new business opportunities
