As an IP Paralegal in the Brands & Legal Team in Switzerland, you will handle trademark- and design-related matters in a dynamic, international setting. You will be responsible for managing trademark prosecution matters, administrative proceedings, and maintaining accurate IP data.
Requirements
- Conduct trademark availability searches and provide recommendations to attorneys
- File trademark and industrial design applications and manage the prosecution process
- Handle objections and refusals from IP offices
- Support opposition proceedings and negotiate co-existence agreements
- Communicate with foreign agents regarding filings and prosecution in other jurisdictions
- Maintain and update internal databases and docket deadlines
- Conduct research projects, including trademark portfolio analyses and case law reviews
- Prepare cost estimates and ensure accurate billing
- Assist with administrative tasks, including correspondence and calendar management
- Contribute to the optimization of workflows, systems, and processes
