We are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager to join a successful team in the Rail & Transport sector based in London. The Health and Safety Manager will coordinate, support and advise the business on all aspects of Health and Safety.
Requirements
- Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and standards
- Develop, implement, review and communicate Health & Safety policies, procedures and systems
- Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations
- Drive continuous improvement in Health & Safety performance across the business
- Deliver Health & Safety training, including inductions and IOSH programmes
- Chair Health & Safety meetings and manage agreed actions
- Monitor performance, analyse data and provide reports to senior management
- Support high-risk operational environments and industry-specific requirements
- Stay up to date with legislation and communicate changes effectively
