HVAC Technician

HVAC Technician job description: Join our mechanical company as a direct placement full-time position with Landis Mechanical. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the commercial and industrial installation, maintenance, inspection, operation, alteration, troubleshooting & repair of HVAC systems and equipment.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certificate
• Standard practices of the HVAC and refrigeration trade.
• Theory of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Materials, methods and tools used in the operation and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Applicable building codes, ordinances and regulations of State and local authorities pertaining to HVAC, refrigeration and boilers.
• Manual and electrical tools and equipment applicable to the HVAC and refrigeration trade.
• Brazing and soldering techniques.
• Health and safety regulations, including proper methods of storing equipment, materials and supplies.
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• 6+ years' technical and trade experience
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Outstanding customer relations ability
• Daily completion of work orders
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management and record keeping techniques
