Job Description
Acadia Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Long-Term Care Sales Specialist to drive sales, develop business, and address customer needs within a territory. This role involves building relationships with healthcare professionals, promoting their products, identifying and resolving customer issues, and collaborating with other departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuroscience and healthcare sales, with a focus on pharmaceutical and LTC markets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; life sciences preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare; neuroscience preferred.
- 5+ years of healthcare sales experience; 2+ years in complex/account-based selling preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; ability to travel independently by air.
- Must reside within the territory or within 30 miles of a major airport.
- Experience within LTC market dynamics, payer systems (Part A, Part D), and applicable LTC regulations.
