Job Description
The Gas Distribution Technician 3 is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) equipment, including installation of underground conduit and pipe networks. They handle projects with a focus on fusion, safety, and compliance. This role requires experience in gas distribution operations and a strong understanding of polyethylene fusion techniques.
Requirements
- Operate HDD equipment to safely install conduits and cables.
- Prepare job sites and review plans.
- Set up drilling equipment and ensure a safe worksite.
- Perform pilot bores, reaming, and pullbacks.
- Perform trenching and excavation for fiber optic and gas infrastructure.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of HDD equipment.
- Maintain accurate project documentation.
