Structural Engineer (AO-13740)

Structural Engineer (AO-13740) - We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our client's team based in Queensland, Australia. The ideal candidate will have experience in design and analysis of residential and commercial building structures, and be proficient in software such as Hyne Timber Design, SkyCiv SpaceGass, and AutoCAD. The role involves working independently, collaborating with Australian-based engineers and architects, and ensuring designs are structurally sound, buildable, and compliant with Australian Standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Structural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for structural documentation
• Working knowledge of Australian building codes and structural standards
• Experience using structural analysis and timber design software (Hyne, SkyCiv, SpaceGass preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote and onshore teams
